A really different type of centre

    Before we opened we decided we wanted to work with dealers who like us were keen to sell items of a genuine age, and were willing to follow our fairly stringent date and quality requirements.

    Dealing in antiques must be their major occupation too and with many years experience as well.  On average our colleagues have been earning their living from antiques for well over 25 years, ensuring that  description and quality errors are kept to the minimum.

    Nevertheless, everyone in the centre accepts that a critical eye is cast across the stock almost daily, and may result in the occasional rejection of something that doesn't quite meet the now well established standards that their colleagues expect.

    They also have to be keen on honest labelling too.  Labelling that, in particular, points out imperfections that might be missed and disappoint afterwards.     From the beginning we set out to ensure that we would never deceive anyone.

   We also tackled the unrelated diversity that is common to most centres.  We major in furniture and furnishings in the English style with a good stock of decorative furnishing objects and quality collectables.

   Rental income at Jubilee Hall has always come a distant second to creating the best centre.  Regular visitors know that we never stock modern reproductions.

Parking - no yellow peril for anyone!

   We have our own car park along the front of the building with an additional 70 free spaces in the public car park behind us. Courier coaches can park without difficulty on the opposite side of the road.

   If you are a courier with a bus, small or large, why not ring ahead so that we can make you welcome, or stay open if you are running behind schedule.
